SII Group Spain participates in the “Sustainable Development Commission” event, which will be held on May 12 at the French Chamber of Commerce. The event, which will begin at 6:00 p.m., will deal with the need for companies to have a sustainable development strategy.

The business sector has a fundamental role in sustainable development. It is key to a fair ecological transition, in the transformation of the consumption and production model towards a more sustainable one and in the strengthening and promotion of innovation. A sustainability strategy involves planning a series of thoughtful actions whose purpose is to provide social, environmental and economic value.

The Sustainable Development Commission of the French Chamber of Commerce aims to learn, share, network and link businesses so that they can achieve their circular economy and sustainability goals. Thus, through this commission it is intended to emphasize how sustainability can be used as a lever to promote inclusive and sustainable growth.

This first meeting, to be held at the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Barcelona on May 12 at 6:00 p.m., will focus on the debate on business sustainability strategies through a round table where SII Group Spain, Danone, Veolia and Valrhona, will contribute their testimony and their vision with the aim of learning, sharing experiences and working for the circular economy and sustainability.
