This achievement has been possible thanks to donations from the company’s employees in this solidarity campaign, which has been very well received by the entire workforce

During the past month of November, SII Group Spain launched a solidarity campaign among all its workers that consisted of raising funds for the Food Bank (FESBAL).

During more than a month of campaign, the commitment and involvement of the workers of SII Group Spain was evidenced and managed to raise enough money to generate more than 800kg of food, which has reached more than 1,000 people in food rations.

With this solidarity action, at SII Group Spain we began to promote two new SDGs: the End of Poverty (SDG 1) and Zero Hunger (SDG 2). Two important objectives for us that will help to contribute to the purpose of ensuring everyone’s access to sufficient and nutritious food throughout the year.

The commitment and involvement of companies and workers in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out in the 2030 Agenda is essential to achieve a better and more sustainable world.

Commitment to 82% of the sustainable development goals

As a committed company, and aware of the impact we are capable of generating in society, we have taken on the challenge of promoting, from the private sector, the #Agenda2030. Since last 2014, we have been part of the Spanish Network of the Global Compact and during these last years we have worked for some of the Sustainable Development Goals, culminating with an active contribution to the achievement of 12 of these. In this way, we support the Global Compact in its intention to end poverty, protect the planet and guarantee that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.
