SII Group Spain chose Spotify Camp Nou and Estadio Cívitas Metropolitano as locations to celebrate an event with its staff, and to share with them the company’s objectives for the coming years, focusing on growth linked to sustainable development and the importance of continuing to cultivate the company’s DNA and values.
Under the slogan “You are a key player in our ONE Team”, it reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and highlighted the importance of each and every employee in the growth of the organisation through an event at Spotify Camp Nou (Barcelona) and Estadio Cívitas Metropolitano (Madrid).
The event included a presentation by Eric Matteucci, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SII Group, Didier Bonnet, Executive Director of the SII Group, and Xavier de Obes, CEO of SII Group Spain, along with other members of the local executive committee.
Committed to growth
Eric Matteucci reviewed the results of the last fiscal year 2020-2021, which were very positive, both at Group level (reaching an all-time high) and at subsidiary level (SII Group Spain recorded a growth of 27,9%). These results are mainly due to the great rebound in different strategic sectors of the company compared to the previous year and to the great involvement of the entire team.
In this sense, Xavier de Obes talked about the importance of continuing to grow in the coming years; a growth that must be based on sustainable development and the promotion of the company’s values.
Continuing to cultivate DNA
In his turn, Didier Bonnet also highlighted growth as one of the strategic pillars of the group and said: “When we talk about growth, we mean involving all the people who have a relationship with the organisation, from customers to employees. Our goal is to empower people. That is our main pillar”.
Bonnet put emphasis on rowing together and continuing to promote and disseminate the group’s values and DNA: “We have a great advantage and that is that we adapt 100% to the ecosystem in which we work and to the culture and way of being of each country with the ultimate goal of strengthening the role of all the people who are part of the group”.
This is one of the key reasons why last March SII Group Spain was accredited as a Great Place to Work, one of the most prestigious international awards given to the best employers.
De Obes made clear the objective in this aspect: “Having been accredited as Great Place to Work is fantastic, but we want to keep improving“.
Sustainability as an essential element
“Growth must happen in a sustainable way”. These were the words of Xavier de Obes when he referred to SII Group Spain’s commitment to sustainable development.
The objective is to continue with a model based on the reduction of waste and CO2 emissions, and the reuse of material goods that reduce the carbon footprint generated.
In this regard, Didier Bonnet stressed the group’s commitment to building a sustainable digital world. “Our responsibility as a company is to take sustainability into account in all the areas and actions we take. We must take care of the world we are in and IT technology and engineering play a determining role in this.”
